What is a pay-as-you-go orders package?
You're buying a pay-as-you-go orders package that will be associated with your Dexero eCommerce's merchant account. Thereafter, each order completed by a customer will be credited from your orders package
How long is my pay-as-you-go orders package usable?
Your pay-as-you-go orders package is non-refundable, but will remain usable for two years after purchase.
What are the payment methods supported?
Dexero eCommerce is compatible with the Desjardins payment gateway (Optimal Payments), TD, Moneris and PayPal. Credit cards accepted depend on your payment gateway. You must open an account with one of these providers and then this service will be linked to your Dexero eCommerce's account to validate credit card transactions. Transaction fees will be billed directly by your payment gateway.
How much does it cost to use credit card processing?
The cost varies depending on your payment gateway. For example, Paypal fees are 2.9% + $ .30 per transaction. Desjardins, TD and Moneris charges a monthly fee and a % + a flat fee per transaction. These one can offer % lower than Paypal if you have a good credit rating, but requires to sign long term agreements. According to your needs, one solution may be more profitable than another.
What will it be written on my customers' credit card statement?
It's your company name that will appear on the credit card's statement. You sign an agreement directly with the payment gateway and the amounts paid by your customers are debited directly into your bank account, without any intermediary.
Is it possible to use Dexero eCommerce for orders without immediate payment by credit card?
Yes. You can enable a payment type "billing" which allow the customer to complete his command without making any payment. A balance due will be displayed at the bottom of the invoice.
